Faces are surrounded by a dense layering of painted patterns, cut paper florals, and wrought iron crowns. The pieces evoke dualities of strength and vulnerability, as stark black fences crown the regal female figures, but these barriers are, in the end, only paper thin.

This print is a reproduction of the original mixed media diorama as part of my ‘Paper Thin’ series that is currently available at Galerie Youn, Montreal.

Printed on Hahnemuehle Photo Rag 308 GSM cotton fine-art photo rag paper using original HP Vivera Inks.
